Lynsey joined Tollers in January 2025, having qualified in 2012 after graduating from Kingston University London with a First Class degree in Law with Criminology. She continued her studies at UWE in Bristol and subsequently trained and worked locally in Milton Keynes and Northampton. In her previous role, as a Senior Associate at a regional specialist family firm, she led the Divorce and Finances team at their Northampton office.
Lynsey is a member of Resolution, an organisation that promotes the need for a practical and non-confrontational approach in all Family matters. She is also a member of the Family Law Panel and a Law Society Specialist in Finances and TOLATA (unmarried couples). In addition, she qualified as a mediator in 2024.
Lynsey is a council member of the Northamptonshire Law Society and has previously won both Junior Lawyer of the Year and Solicitor of the Year in 2015 and 2019 respectively. Since 2019 she has worked part-time as an associate lecturer at the University of Northampton, where she teaches family law modules and practical legal skills in addition to career development.
As a solicitor, Lynsey takes a pragmatic and sensible approach and prides herself on giving no-nonsense advice while remaining empathetic to every client’s individual needs.
