
Solicitor – PQE from 4 to 5 years
Northampton/Stevenage
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join a specialist team in our expanding Corporate & Commercial team in either our Northampton or Stevenage office. Utilising your skills and expertise in this field, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality, client-focused advice and manage a complex caseload covering all aspects of corporate & commercial transactions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with some or all of the following –
Key Responsibilities of this role:
- Mergers and acquisitions acting for private equity and owner managed businesses
- Share structure reorganisation and restructuring
- EMIS and EBTs
- Shareholder agreements
- Wide range of commercial contracts including sale of goods and provision of services
- Meeting firm set billing targets
- Participating in business development initiatives
Additional requirements of this role:
- Applications are welcomed from qualified solicitors with a minimum of 4/5 years PQE
- Technical proficiency in corporate & commercial law is essential
- Compliance – able to work under own initiative
- Possesses excellent communication and client care skills
- Works well when under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strives for high standards in their work
- Is personable, professional and detail orientated
- A team player with a desire for professional development
- Is ambitious and looking for a role with good prospects in a friendly team
