We can tailor a package to suit your individual needs from as little as an initial explanation of your role in the estate to our full estate administration service. In some cases we are able to offer a fixed fee for the service you require and where this is not possible we will provide you with an estimate. We offer friendly and practical advice with a sympathetic approach, and an understanding of the emotional aspects of this difficult time.
We have offices in Northampton, Milton Keynes, Corby, Kettering, Stevenage, Kempston, Oakham and Uppingham. We also offer home visits for a small additional charge.
Advice for Executors and Administrators
You may have known that you had been appointed as an Executor or it may have been a surprise, either way, the role can be daunting and confusing especially if this is your first appointment. Tollers can help by explaining your role and ensuring that you fully understand the terms of the Will and what is expected of you.
You may have recently lost a loved one and found that they had not written a Will, in which case there is a set order of people who are entitled to administer the estate and the person who takes on the role is the Administrator. Where someone has died without making a Will the Intestacy Rules specify who is entitled to the estate. You probably won’t have discussed or considered the role before now. Tollers can help by explaining who is entitled to take on the role, what it entails and how to become officially appointed to act.
In either case we can provide you with the relevant advice so that you are informed enough to make a decision as to whether you wish to take on role you are being offered, and your options if you do not. This will usually be by a face to face meeting with one of team, which would be charged at our hourly rates.
